Last year for Valentine’s Day, Leo and I did a roadtrip to Wales for a few days, and looking back on it now it’s quite funny considering we hadn’t been together that long. However it was a good little test on the early stages of our relationship and almost foreshadowing of the many adventures we’d take from that moment on. This year we’d just been away for our anniversary at the end of January, so for Valentine’s we decided on a quick day trip to York!
This past weekend I visited South East London as I was seeing a show at the Greenwich Theatre and had some time free before the show to wander round the area, something I love to do in this beautiful part of the city. The market is always full of incredible products and I wanted to share a few brilliant ones I came across!
Since my teenage years I’ve been fascinated with photography, and despite the digital age being strong when I started out shooting, I was drawn to film photography and using analogue cameras. Nowadays I don’t use 35mm cameras as much (though I’m still very much an Instax junkie), but I still believe using film cameras is one of the best ways to learn the craft.
At the end of 2016, after quite a few trips to National Trust locations with Leo and his parents, I finally got myself a National Trust card! Last weekend we journeyed to Kent and I used my card for the first time with a trip to Sissinghurst.
Last week Leo and I went on a quick daytrip to York, and one of the only things we had booked in advance was dinner! Leo had taken a look online to see which restaurants were highly recommended and came across Skosh, and thankfully they were able to get us a table – it’s a very busy place!
Something I haven’t done in a loooong time is theatre photography! When I saw a friend asking on Twitter if anyone was able to take some photos for their little fringe show I was happy to oblige and wanted to share some of those photos with you!
If you know me, you’ll know I love travelling, so I’m really pleased it didn’t take us long to be on a plane and out of England in 2017. As I’ve done with a few of the previous places we’ve visited, I wanted to dedicate a whole post to where we ate while visiting Warsaw, because what’s a trip abroad without exploring new tastes?! 🍴
