While I was working in Covent Garden over Christmas I noticed a new shop had popped up and immediately from the window display I knew it was a shop that a) I had to visit and b) would likely fall in love with.
Upon entering the shop I proved myself correct, kikki.K is full of gorgeous stationery, homeware trinkets, gifts and ways to organise your life. Plus, it’s all beautiful! The shop itself had a really calming atmosphere due to the minimalist design and colour scheme of their store and products, so even when shopping at peak Christmas time it didn’t feel chaotic. It does however get a stationery lover quite excited!
Having visited the store in Covent Garden in December, where it quickly became one of my favourite shops, the brand has expanded with another bigger shop in Covent Garden on James Street just down from the station. Now just a few months later, you can find kikki.K in Selfridges on Oxford Street! I think this is an amazing progression for a company and I’m glad it’s happened to one as lovely as this.
The introduction of kikki.K to Selfridges has coincided wonderfully with National Stationery Week, and I thought I’d pop down to see how they look in the famous flagship store on Wednesday 27th, World Stationery Day!
Founder of kikki.K, Kristina Karlsson, was also at Selfridges today to discuss the brand and products, so I popped down there to see how it was looking and to say a little hello! It was really lovely to meet her and congratulate her in person on the success of kikki.K, it’s amazing that in less than six months London has well and truly fallen in love with this brand, so much so that it’s got it’s own space in one of the most prominent shops in London. kikki.K will definitely be in Selfridges for the next month and hopefully it’ll be there longer after that, however you should definitely check out the store in Covent Garden to discover the full selection of goodies!
The products in Selfridges include a selection of their range of journals, planners and organisers, stationery essentials and candles, most of which include brilliant motivational quotes! This is one of my favourite things about the products at kikki.K, they’re so uplifting and positive, they’re a perfect addition to a workspace to keep you going throughout the work day!
I could easily buy just about everything that kikki.K sells but today I managed to refrain myself and just purchase this adorable pen. As I’ve been getting back into blogging so much recently I feel like this’ll be a perfect addition to my notebooks to keep me motivated and more importantly – keep me writing!
