52 Weeks Project | Week Thirty

This week has been work, play, ups and downs all rolled into one!

I really liked this week up until Saturday evening where I had an absolute melt-down. I used to have a lot of bad days and now they just come and go, which I much prefer to feeling miserable all the time but sometimes the bad days are more intense which can make them feel worse. These days feel unbearable, I can’t shake the feeling of hopelessness and absolute despair, but a good cry normally cleanses the emotional palette (apparently that’s actually a thing, I just looked it up, who knew!) and a bottle of wine helped too.

Positives of this week! I went down to London mid-week and had a really wonderful time with some fellow theatre bloggers celebrating the brilliant Rebecca who brought us all together. It was lovely to see some familiar faces and meet new people too, a fantastic night was had by all. I was able to catch up with some other friends while in town too, and being there yet again reaffirmed how much I want to move back there. It’s top of the Goals list for sure.

Amidst everything, I’m trying to think positive and happy and keep my head above water as much as possible. Also I’ve just spent my Sunday with family which was so nice; emotions have been recalibrated somewhat, I’m ready for this next week. Only twelve more of the year to go, what!
