Earlier this week there were reports that the Northern Lights may be visible across the UK due to high solar activity, and obviously as soon as we knew this we went out in search of hoping to see the beautiful Aurora Borealis once more!
I was on my way back from a very long day of work and visiting London when I received a text from Caitlin to say about the solar activity and even so as soon as I got back I was straight out the door again so we could drive over to Pitsford where we hoped it’d be dark enough for any sightings.
Unfortunately, and oddly, even between 12:30am-2:30am it was still incredibly light and sadly we didn’t get to see the Northern Lights. However I still took some portraits anyway because I do love taking photos of the stars.
This edit is a bit different to what I normally do but I like it, I love the clouds coming across the frame too, it feels a bit more surrealist.
We’re almost half way through the year now! And next week it’ll be my birthday, good times :)
